Top Strongest Anime Weapons

We had previously made a list of the top strongest weapons in marvel universe, but Animewelt is mostly about anime, so I thought, why not make the same list of the strongest weapons in anime?

This list focuses on weapons that break the existence itself — artefacts capable of rewriting reality, erasing concepts, and overriding the world’s fundamental laws.

I prefer not actually to rank them, just put them down. I want your opinions in ranking in the comments, and please tell me if I missed any.

This article is part of a larger series exploring world-ending weapons across fiction, including Marvel, DC, and Anime.

1. Dragon Balls (Dragon Ball)

The Dragon Balls are the most broken “weapon” system in anime history.

When gathered, they allow wishes that rewrite reality itself — resurrecting the dead, restoring destroyed planets, altering timelines, and bypassing causal limits.

Super Shenron takes this even further, capable of undoing entire universes effortlessly.

Unlike traditional weapons, the Dragon Balls do not rely on strength, skill, or combat. They simply overwrite outcomes.

Key appearances: Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super

2. Truth-Seeking Orbs (Naruto)

Truth-Seeking Orbs are weapons that erase existence itself.

Forged from Yin–Yang Release, they nullify ninjutsu, disintegrate matter, and remove targets from reality entirely.

Anything they touch ceases to exist at a fundamental level.

In Naruto Shippuden, even immortal Edo Tensei bodies could not regenerate from their damage.

And the testament to there power was that they were removed as soon as Naruto Sasuke captured Kaguya so the story could progress.

Key appearances: Naruto Shippuden (Six Paths arc)

3. Devil Fruits (One Piece)

Devil Fruits are not weapons in shape, but they are tools which turns its eater a literal devil by giving him unimaginable powers.

They permanently alter the human body, granting powers that can reshape oceans, bend natural laws, and destabilize the balance of the world. Entire political systems, wars, and eras in One Piece exist solely because of Devil Fruit abilities.

What makes them dangerous is permanence. Once consumed, the transformation cannot be undone. The sea itself rejects the user, turning the world’s greatest power source into a lifelong curse.

Devil Fruits don’t end the world instantly.

They slowly change how the world works.

4. Hogyoku (Bleach)

The Hogyoku is a wish-granting artefact disguised as an evolution engine.

It responds to subconscious desire, rewriting souls, breaking the boundary between life and death, Hollow and Shinigami.

In Aizen’s hands, it warped reality around him and rejected death repeatedly.

Its danger lies in removing limits — not imposing power.

Key appearances: Bleach (Arrancar & Fake Karakura arcs)

5. Death Note (Death Note)

The Death Note is pure authority over life and death.

By writing a name and picturing a face, the user can kill anyone, anywhere, regardless of defense or power.

Over time, it enabled global manipulation of society, governments, and morality itself.

It doesn’t destroy the world — it controls it.

Key appearances: Death Note

6. Inverted Spear of Heaven (Jujutsu Kaisen)

The Inverted Spear of Heaven doesn’t overpower techniques.
It denies their existence.

This cursed tool nullifies cursed techniques entirely — not weakening them, not countering them, but erasing their effect on contact. Abilities built on absolute defense, such as Gojo’s Infinity, simply stop functioning.

In a world where power is defined by technique mastery, the Inverted Spear of Heaven doesn’t compete within the system.

It breaks it.

Key appearances: Jujutsu Kaisen (Hidden Inventory arc)

7. Sacred Treasures – Regalia of the Gods (Seven Deadly Sins)

The Sacred Treasures are not weapons in the conventional sense.
They are extensions of divine authority.

Each treasure amplifies its wielder beyond mortal limits, reshaping landscapes, bending natural laws, and allowing direct confrontation with gods and demon kings alike. Their power is tied not to skill alone, but to lineage and cosmic balance.

They may not threaten the multiverse, but within their world, they are instruments capable of destabilising reality itself.

Key appearances: Seven Deadly Sins

8. Ancient Weapon: Uranus — One Piece

Uranus is a weapon defined by absence.

Classified alongside Pluton and Poseidon, Uranus is implied to possess the power to erase entire nations instantly. Its recent use suggests sky-based annihilation capable of altering geography and history in a single moment.

Unlike conventional weapons, Uranus is not meant for battle.

It exists to correct the world.

When it is used, maps change.

9. Gungnir (Symphogear)

Gungnir ignores probability and fate.

It forces outcomes to occur, overriding causality itself. In Symphogear, it has rewritten divine law and challenged god-level beings.

Conceptual inevitability is its true strength.

Key appearances: Symphogear

10. Source of All Living Matter (Attack on Titan)

This is where the Titans truly began.

The Source of All Living Matter is the primordial entity that bonded with Ymir Fritz and created the Titan power itself. It is not a weapon, not a machine, and not a god in the traditional sense — it is a parasitic, ancient life‑form capable of rewriting biology and existence at a fundamental level.

When Ymir came into contact with it, her body and soul were transformed, giving birth to the Titan system, the Paths that connect all Subjects of Ymir, and the division of power that would later become the Nine Titans.

Key appearances: Attack on Titan (Chapter 122, Final Arc)
