One piece has been running for a very long duration of more than 20 years, and in that time many of us has became adults from kids.
Many got married and started there family, but still our future pirate king has been looking for the ultimate treasure of One Piece.
But in the long run, there came many female characters who resonated with Luffy who we want to see end up with Luffy when his dream is fulfilled.
So in today’s post, we will look at those female characters who are likely to become Luffy’s life partner, his wife.
Princess Shirahoshi
Princess Shirahoshi is the princess of the underwater city of fishmen islands and also the reincarnation of the ancient weapon Poseidon in one piece.
But even though she had a huge power to talk and control the sea kings she was unable to as she was a crybaby and easily scared but it was Luffy who had made her become brave and fight for herself.
For that very reason Shirahoshi has huge respect for Luffy and Luffy also promised her that he will take her to a garden on the top surface of Earth.
She has been a spoiled child being the youngest among 3 brothers and having lost her mother at birth but after Luffy inspired her to be brave and should not depend on other for her safety and stop being a crybaby she came to be able to use her ancient weapons power.
Princess Rebecca
During the dressrosa Arc Rebecca was introduced as a competitor to Luffy in the stadium as a contender for the prize of the fire fire devil fruit of Ace.
Later as the story progressed Rebecca became a very important part of the strawhats during the fight against Doflamingo and his family and later on it was Luffy who helped Rebecca’s father to became free again.
Rebecca trust and is affectionate towards Luffy but its only as a friend or something else we will find out in the future as the final parting was also special as she specially said we will meet again.
Princess Vivi
Vivi was first introduced during the Alabasta arc, where she infiltrated Baroque Works and later revealed her true identity as the princess of the Alabasta Kingdom. What made her connection with Luffy so special was how quickly they clicked. Vivi wasn’t just some royal girl asking for help — she fought alongside the crew, took risks, and shared their pain.
Luffy respected her from the start — not because of her status, but because of her will. She risked her life for her people and was ready to go to war against Crocodile and Baroque Works even if it meant losing everything. That’s the kind of spirit Luffy admires more than anything.
And let’s not forget — Vivi could’ve joined the Straw Hat crew permanently. In fact, the emotional goodbye scene where she couldn’t leave her country, and the crew silently raised their arms with the “X” symbol… that moment still gives chills. It showed how close they all became — like family.
She is also from the family of Nefertari D. Lili, who spread the Poneglyphs around the world and Luffy being the present joy boy the are sureto cross paths again and this could completely change there relationship.
Nami
Nami has been part of the crew of straw hats from the very beginning she joined it just after Zoro and has been a very important person which kept the crew together and alive with her knowledge of the sea.
To Luffy Nami means alot she is like a big sister who always keep him under control whenever he goes overboard from his excitement and has also provided the emotional support after he had lost his brother Ace.
The connection of Luffy and Nami is very strong but rather than being a romantic it’s more like brother and elder sister but did keep them in this list because many fans ships them together.
Boa Hancock
The most likely candidate who we are going to see as the wife of the future pirate king is the empress of the Amazon Lily Boa Hancock.
Hancock has been in love with Luffy from the time Luffy selflessly agreed to stay captured in return to allow the sister of Hancock to be freed from being a stone statue.
Before this Hancock thought that man are selfish and are only behind her beauty and power but after she saw Luffy’s action she had a change of heart and falled in love with him.
Luffy being a guy who is only in his mind don’t understand Hancock feeling but her way od protecting him and being mad in love to him will most likely become the future wife of the pirate king.
And a king like Luffy deserves an empress rather than a princess.

Rather than a love interest she is more like a mother or elder sister to Luffy who could end up with Zoro and who only sees luffy as a brave but crazy child who is in constant need of attention and right guidance.

This relationship in my opinion will never happen, eventhough both the personalities of Bonnie and Luffy are same both are monster eaters both dont listen to anyone and do as they seem fit and both of them are very good from heart but Bonie is just a little girl whose body has been grown using the effect of her devil fruit.
So seeing them together in the future I cant imagine something like that in my mind.
