Well, guys, here I am again with another list that every One Piece fan needs to see.
If you’ve ever yelled Santoryu Ougi! in your room, you know just how legendary Zoro’s swords are.
From cursed katanas to legendary black blades, every sword Zoro has wielded in One Piece carries a piece of his dream — to become the world’s greatest swordsman.
So grab your bandana, tighten that hilt, and let’s rank all Roronoa Zoro swords from weakest to strongest!
1. Enma – Zoro’s Strongest Sword
If we’re talking raw power, Enma is on top — no contest.
This legendary sword from Wano is an O Wazamono grade blade once owned by Kozuki Oden, the only man to scar Kaido and Zoro became the second one to do so with the same sword.
Enma’s biggest flex? It draws out its wielder’s Haki forcefully, pushing Zoro’s limits every swing.
This training nearly sliced his arm off at first, but it forged Zoro into the monster we see fighting Kaido and King.
Fun Fact: Many fans believe Zoro might turn Enma into a permanent black blade like Ryuma did with Shusui.
2. Shusui – The Legendary Black Blade
Before Enma stole the show, Shusui was Zoro’s most iconic sword.
He earned it fair and square by defeating Ryuma’s corpse on Thriller Bark.
Shusui is a black blade, meaning it’s permanently hardened with Haki, boosting its cutting power and durability.
With Shusui, Zoro cut down a dragon, split a ship in half, and deflected Oars’s attacks like it was nothing.
Sadly, he had to return it to Wano, but it led him to Enma — so it’s all part of the swordsman’s path.
3. Wado Ichimonji – Zoro’s Most Important Sword
Wado Ichimonji isn’t just a sword — it’s Zoro’s promise to Kuina.
This white blade is an O Wazamono grade sword forged by Shimotsuki Kozaburo.
It’s been with Zoro since the beginning, surviving every clash, slash, and near-death moment.
Symbolically, Wado Ichimonji represents Zoro’s loyalty and dream.
Physically, it’s durable enough to take on Mihawk’s Yoru without snapping.
If Zoro’s gonna become the world’s greatest swordsman, Wado Ichimonji will be there when he does it.
4. Sandai Kitetsu – The Cursed Blade
If you know Zoro, you know he loves danger.
Sandai Kitetsu is a Ryo Wazamono grade blade from the infamous Kitetsu line — a cursed series of swords that bring death to their owners.
Zoro tests the curse before becoming the owner of the sword to see if it will accept Zoro’s will to be the strongest swordsman.
He threw it in the air and held out his arm to see if it would slice him. Classic Zoro move.
Sandai Kitetsu’s bloodthirsty vibe matches Zoro’s savage fighting style. Some fans even wonder if he’ll eventually get Nidai Kitetsu — it’s a more powerful elder sibling.
5. Yubashiri – The Fallen Blade
Next on the list is Yubashiri.
Zoro got this lightweight, easy-to-handle katana from Ipponmatsu in Loguetown — for free, after the same curse test.
Yubashiri helped Zoro dominate the Enies Lobby arc with insane speed and clean cuts.
Unfortunately, Marine Captain Shu rusted it beyond repair during the Buster Call.
Zoro kept its remains for a while as a sign of respect.
RIP Yubashiri — short-lived but never forgotten.
6. Dual Katanas (Unnamed)
Before fame, black blades, or legendary curses, Zoro started with two unnamed katanas alongside Wado Ichimonji.
They didn’t survive his clash with Mihawk, which only showed Zoro how huge the gap between him and the world’s best really was.
These swords may be plain, but they laid the groundwork for Zoro’s three-sword style.
Every swordsman starts somewhere — even the Pirate Hunter.
Final Words – What’s Next for Zoro’s Swords?
From random katanas to swords that scar dragons, Zoro’s blade collection proves how far he’s come.
And knowing Oda, we’re probably not done yet.
Will Zoro get Nidai Kitetsu? Will Wado Ichimonji become a black blade? Or will Enma transform completely?
One Piece theories never stop, and neither does Zoro’s growth.
Which sword is YOUR favourite? Do you think Enma is the final sword in Zoro’s journey?
