Strongest Otsutsuki Ranked

Otsutsuki the alien species in Naruto who are distant relatives of Galactus from the marvel Comics.

Who just like Galactus are in constant search of a living planet to suck up that planets chakra and eat the chakra fruit.

The first Otsutsuki we had seen was Kaguya Otsutsuki who single handedly nearly destroyed earth, if Naruto and Sasuke were not present with the sage of sage paths chakra.

But later on it was revealed there are many more such Otsutsuki species who we are going to rank today in this list.

Strongest Ōtsutsuki Ranked – Naruto & Boruto (Including Fillers)

These guys are the reason chakra exists, and every time they show up, someone’s life is about to get wrecked. I’m ranking them from strongest to weakest, including canon, Boruto’s additions, and even some anime-only appearances that deserve a mention.

1. Shibai Ōtsutsuki

Anime Reference: Mentioned in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 75 (through Amado’s story in later episodes like 286).

Shibai never actually appears in battle on-screen, but the hype is unreal.

According to Amado, this guy lived for thousands of years, eating chakra fruits until his body became irrelevant—he literally transcended into a higher dimension.

He created Shinjutsu, god-tier abilities that current Ōtsutsuki and even modified humans like Code and Eida try to mimic.

If Shibai had ever fought on-screen, it would’ve been over before anyone could blink.

Think of him as the “final boss” we’ve only heard about, but who could crush everyone else on this list.

2. Isshiki Ōtsutsuki

Isshiki Otsutsuki boruto naruto next generation

Anime Reference: First teased in Boruto Episode 15 (as Jigen), true form revealed in Episodes 215–217.

Isshiki is a menace. He was the Otsutsuki who was sent to earth to devour its chakra fruit along with Kaguya who was meant to become the food for the ten tails.

She betrayed him and made him to run inside a human for protection.

His Sukunahikona lets him shrink objects—or himself—instantly, and Daikokuten lets him store them in a pocket dimension where time stands still.

Even Baryon Mode Naruto barely managed to turn the tide, and that cost Naruto Kurama’s life.

3. Kaguya Ōtsutsuki

Kaguya otsutsuki from naruto shippuden anime

Anime Reference: Fully appears in Naruto Shippuden Episode 458; main battle stretches to Episode 479.

The “Mother of Chakra” herself. The first pure Otsutsuki we have seen in the Naruto franchise. Kaguya’s Infinite Tsukuyomi was the ultimate trap—casting a genjutsu on the entire world.

She could shift dimensions mid-battle (remember when she dropped Team 7 into a sea of acid in Episode 464?) and fire massive chakra blasts that rivaled tailed-beast bombs.

4. Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki

Hagoromo sage of six paths from naruto shippuden anime

Anime Reference: First appears in spirit form in Naruto Shippuden Episode 421.

Known as the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo was both the Ten-Tails’ jinchūriki and the creator of ninjutsu as we know it he made hand seals which allowed even other humans to easily channel the chakra in body and use it.

He sealed Kaguya with his brother and split the Ten-Tails into the nine tailed beasts.

In Episode 421, he gifted Naruto Six Paths Sage Mode and Sasuke the Rinnegan—abilities that turned the tide against Madara and Kaguya.

Without Hagoromo, there’s no shinobi world.

5. Hamura Ōtsutsuki

Anime Reference: Appears in Naruto Shippuden Episode 461 during the Kaguya flashbacks.

Hamura might not get as much screen time as Hagoromo, but don’t sleep on him.

He awakened the Tenseigan, could use Six Paths Senjutsu, and fought Kaguya alongside his brother.

After the battle, he went to the moon to guard the Gedo Statue.

In The Last: Naruto the Movie, we see his legacy in the form of Toneri’s Tenseigan powers—proof Hamura’s bloodline is nothing to mess with.

6. Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki (Fused Form)

Momoshiki otsutsuki from boruto naruto next generation anime

Anime Reference: Main fight in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episodes 64–66.

Momoshiki is already dangerous on his own—absorbing ninjutsu and firing it back amplified—but after fusing with Kinshiki, he becomes a monster.

The battle in Episode 65 is still one of Boruto’s best-animated fights, with Momoshiki trading blows against adult Naruto and Sasuke.

His flaming chakra weapons, insane speed, and Rinnegan in his palms and forehead made him a threat that required both legends to fight at full power.

7. Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki

Anime Reference: Fights in Boruto Episodes 61 and 64.

The muscle-bound monster of the clan. Kinshiki could forge weapons from pure chakra and had the raw power to hold off multiple Kage at once.

In Episode 61, he tore through enemy attacks like paper. His lack of flashy abilities puts him lower on the list, but in terms of brute force, he’s unmatched.

8. Urashiki Ōtsutsuki

Anime Reference: Appears from Episode 15 but shines in the Time Slip Arc (Episodes 128–136).

Urashiki was a tricky one—able to steal chakra, use both the Byakugan and Rinnegan, and even rewind time.

In the Time Slip Arc, he fought kid Naruto, Jiraiya, and Boruto at once.

While he didn’t have the overwhelming might of Isshiki or Kaguya, his sneaky tactics and dojutsu mix made him unpredictable.

9. Toneri Ōtsutsuki

toneri Otsutsuki naruto the last movie

Anime Reference: Main villain of The Last: Naruto the Movie.

Toneri inherited Hamura’s bloodline and awakened the Tenseigan.

His Tenseigan Chakra Mode gave him speed and destructive power rivaling tailed-beast users.

The fight against Naruto in the movie’s final act showed his capability, though he’s more of a lone-wolf type than a war-ending monster.

10. Indra & Asura Ōtsutsuki

Anime Reference: Appear in Naruto Shippuden Episodes 465–468.

Indra, the genius and progenitor of the Uchiha, had immense chakra control and dojutsu skill.

Asura, his younger brother, had massive stamina and inherited Hagoromo’s body powers.

Their reincarnation cycle through Naruto and Sasuke is proof their strength still influences the shinobi world.

In pure Ōtsutsuki terms, though, they’re nowhere near the likes of Isshiki or Shibai.

The Ōtsutsuki clan has constantly raised the power scale in Naruto and Boruto. They’re not just villains—they’re events.

Every time they show up, it changes the series forever. So, what do you think? Is Isshiki more dangerous than Kaguya? Should Momoshiki be higher? Drop your ranking in the comments, because I want to keep this post open for discussions.
