In Marvel cinematic Universe Thor is one of the strongest character but he is not in his strongest form which we have seen in the comics and that form is of Rune King Thor
Today we are going to see all the powers abilities and origin of him and will see which characters from Marvel DC and anime can fight with Rune King Thor.
Rune Kings Origin Story

Rune King Thor first appeared in Avengers Disassembled: The Mighty Thor #80–85.
It all started with the death of Odin the God of wisdom and Thor’s father. After Oden died Thor had to take his place and become the king of Asgardand had to take responsibilities.
He got Odin’s power the Odin force and at the same time Loki been the God of Mischief was planning to do something.
Asgard was at its weakest after Odin death and he wished to take over Asgard and for that he joins his hand with Surtr to bring Ragnarok
Loki Attacks Asgard
Loki decides to attack Asgard with Surtr and all his childrens .
He also creates a weapon out of the same mold which was used to create the hammer of Thor Mjornir by the two dwarves.
It was Surtr who uses the dwarves kiln and mold to create many hammers just like Thor just not as powerful but alot in quantity.
When he attacks Asgard he takes them by surprise and nearly killed many Asgardian warrior including the Enchantress , warrior three and even badly injuring Thor.
For help he rushes back to Avengers through dimensional gate and when he returns back with them Asgards is now in ruins and many people died including Balder.
With help of avengers he was able to make Loki back in the battlefield. But being in grief of Balder death he tells avengers to return to earth.
But Loki kept attacking again and again with power of Fenrir increasing each time.
He calls for Beta Ray bill and makes him to command his army and responsibility of Asgard cause he knew with his current power he could not defeat Loki.
Thor Goes to Find knowledge
Thor goes to Hildstalf to find the knowledge of Odin cause his Odinforce told him where to go.
On his path he meets a boy who tells him that he is the Odin force and tells him the story how Odin got his power and takes him to the well of Mimir.
He had to make a sacrifice their which needs to be greater than Odin’s sacrifice to get the rune power.
So he sacrificed both of his eyes and got the knowledge of everything which gave him knowledge of the past, future and present and not only his life but of whole universe.
The ravens Huginn and Muninn comes to Thor which are symbol of thought and memory.
From that he came to know that the ragnarok is not a one time event but it kept repeating and was done by those who sit above in shadows for the energy of the Asgardians.

Thor acquires rune magic
Thor now knowing about the ragnarok cause and his powers knew that he is still weak and needed the rune magic for which Odin had to nearly die by hang to the world tree.
Thor hangs himself to the world tree Ygdrassil, but since he needed more power than Odin who hanged till death he died hanged.
And since in after death people to hel Thor go there and fight with Hela but Odinforce come for his rescue and he returns back to life.
Those who sit above in shadows
And since now Thor has both the power of runes, odinforce and knowledge of worldvhe goes to the world of those who sit above in shadows.
Who are like the God’s of norse gods who write the fates of all the Asgard and it’s people which was decided written on loom of fates which made it possible to stop any future ragnarok.
It was hypothesized by Loki that Those Who Sit Above In Shadow could have been created by the Asgardians‘ beliefs, or were even Beyonders.
After this Thor goes back to asgardvand with his new found powers rip the head of Loki from his body but keeps him alive with his magic.
He then confronts Mangog which even Odin feared to defeat whom he easily defeats and freeing the soul who powers him finally ends his terror.
He then goes to Surtr to challenge him for a final battle of ragnarok and wins.
Since he had used alot of his odinforce in all this he had to replenish his energies and after combining with eternity goes for his Thor-sleep.

Rune king Thor Power and Abilities
Rune Thor has the power of Odin force, Runic magic and can see into the past, present and future of the whole universe.
He is Immortal and can even challenge mistress death cause after combining with Eternity is on same level as of other cosmic being.
He can travel at the speed of light. He has the power to warp realities, can manipulate souls, matter ,space – time and cosmic energy.
He now posses cosmic awareness which is whatever happening in this world he is informed of all of these things all at the same time of the past ,present and future.
